Certification and Conformity Assessment Process for Sanitary Ware
Certification Procedure
For imported goods: The assessment organization will take one representative sample of each type for testing and evaluate the import documents:
Certification is valid for 1 year for factories with ISO 9001. Samples will be taken for testing of each incoming shipment;
- Certification is valid for the entire shipment if there is no ISO 9001 certificate
For domestic products: The certification body will take samples for testing and evaluate the quality control conditions
- The certificate is valid for 3 years and there is an annual monitoring activity every 12 months.
Declaration of Conformity for Sanitary Equipment
After receiving the Certificate of Conformity, the product must submit a declaration dossier to the local Department of Construction according to the sample document guided in Circular 28/2012/TT-BKHCN.
