Eurolife’s GAC filter cartridges are used to replace used filter cartridges.

Suitable replacement products:

Eurolife RO systems and all other brands of RO systems are compatible with 10-inch (25.4cm) tanks.

STRUCTURE OF THE EUROLIFE GAC WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE

Size: 10 inches – 25.4 cm

– Structure: The filter core is made up of activated carbon particles.

– Function: Removes odors and filters organic sediment from water.

The core consists of a plastic casing containing activated coconut shell charcoal. Activated charcoal has a porous structure. These pores and micro-cracks have very strong absorption properties.

Function: Activated carbon has a strong ability to absorb various types of oils, odors, and dissolved organic substances, exhibiting a “hydrophobic” (oil-loving, water-hating) property. Activated carbon has also proven effective in treating radioactive substances, arsenic, and ammonia.
 

Replacement: Washing the activated carbon core actually only cleans the plastic casing containing the carbon, and has almost no effect on regenerating the porous layers.

The proposed replacement timeframe is no more than 10 months.
